The magic happens at night. Through the canvas, you can hear the distant roar of a lion, the whoop of a hyena, or the gentle grazing of zebras just meters away. It is thrilling, safe, and deeply primal.
2. Following the Action
The beauty of many tented camps is that they are mobile. They move with the Migration.
Whether the wildebeest herds are calving in the south near Ndutu or crossing the Mara River in the north, we book camps that are positioned right in the heart of the action. You do not waste hours driving to the wildlife because you wake up surrounded by it.

In the Serengeti, there is no television. There is only the campfire.
Every evening, guests gather around the fire pit, affectionately known as “Bush TV,” to swap stories of the day’s sightings with their guides. Sipping a gin and tonic under a sky so full of stars it looks like spilled milk is a ritual you will cherish forever.
4. Safety & The Maasai
You are never alone. Because these camps are unfenced to let animals roam freely, safety is taken seriously.
At night, you are always escorted to and from your tent by a Maasai Askari or warrior. Their knowledge of the bush ensures you are safe while adding a wonderful cultural connection to your stay.
