By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these conditions.

Cancellations and Refunds:

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or modify your tour booking. Therefore, we offer a 24-hour cancellation policy, which allows you to cancel your booking within 24 hours of making the reservation. Please carefully review the following policy details:

Eligibility:

The 24-hour cancellation policy is applicable to all bookings made directly The Expat Tours, either through our website, over the phone, or in person.

This policy also applies to bookings made through third-party travel agencies or other booking platforms. Please refer to the cancellation policy of the respective booking agent.

Cancellation Procedure:

To cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of making the reservation. Notification should be sent via email or any other acceptable form of written communication.

The cancellation request should include your name, booking reference number, and a clear statement indicating your intention to cancel the booking.

Refund:

If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of making the reservation, you will be eligible for a full refund of any payments made, including the deposit amount, if applicable.

The refund will be issued through the original payment method used for the booking. Please note that it may take several business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on the payment provider.

Non-Refundable Services:

Please note that certain services or components of the tour may be non-refundable, even within the 24-hour cancellation period. These may include, but are not limited to, non-refundable flight tickets, special events, or other services as specified during the booking process.

Changes and Alterations

Changes by the Customer: If you wish to make changes to your booking, such as a change in travel dates or the number of participants, you must notify the tour operator in writing as soon as possible. The tour operator will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but additional charges may apply.

Changes by the Tour Operator: The tour operator reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodation, transportation, or any other aspect of the tour if circumstances require it. In such cases, the we will provide alternative arrangements of equal or similar standard. If the changes significantly affect the tour, the customer will be notified as soon as possible, and the customer may choose to accept the proposed changes or cancel the booking with a full refund.

Our Non-Refund Policy for Missed Tours

At The Expat Tours, we understand the importance of punctuality and how it affects the overall experience for both our guests and our team. As such, we have implemented a non-refund policy for missed tours.

When you book a tour with us, your spot is reserved, and our team is prepared to provide you with an exceptional experience. We carefully plan and allocate resources, including our knowledgeable guides and support staff, to ensure that each tour is a seamless and enriching adventure.

However, in the event that you miss a scheduled tour, whether due to unforeseen circumstances, delays, or personal reasons, we are unable to offer refunds. Our commitment to maintaining the quality and integrity of our tours means that we adhere to strict schedules, and our groups must depart as planned.

While we understand that unforeseen situations may arise, we encourage all our guests to make every effort to arrive on time, so as not to miss the incredible experiences that await them.

There are no refunds for missed tours, no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours before the start of your tour or activity.

Travel Documents and Insurance

Travel Documents: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all required travel documents, such as passports, visas, and health certificates, are valid and obtained before the tour departure. The tour operator will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to the customer’s failure to obtain the necessary travel documents.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommends that customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings. The Expat Tours will not be responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to the customer’s failure to obtain travel insurance.

Liability

Limitation of Liability: The Expat Tours will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing the tour services. However, the tour operator will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay that is beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or acts of terrorism.

Assumption of Risk: The customer acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks and that participation in the tour is at their own risk. The customer is responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being during the tour.

Complaints

If you have any complaints during the tour, please inform The Expat Tours or our representative immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. Failure to report a complaint during the tour may affect our ability to investigate and resolve the issue.
